This might be rumor, but I think the Hoover shot on his card was the last shot on DelGuidice. Apparently, Hoover knocked DelGuidice's head right off! Plunk! Investigators found that the neck guard was on too tight. That fact combined with the velocity of the shot ended DelGuidice's promising career of being a neck guard spokesman.

Brett Sterling is one of those guys that is a beast at the AHL level, and just can't stick when he gets called up. Most in ATL have already given up on him developing, so I expect him to become a journey man. He's good for a 2-3 game call up, but for some reason can't stick in the show.
ReplyDeleteAlso cool you guys got a Skalde. I remember liking him when he played for the Thrashers and signed a card for me when I was a kid.
